LEGO Arrives in Mumbai at R City Mall

The LEGO Group opened its first certified store in Mumbai at R City Mall in Ghatkopar on 25 July in partnership with the Ample Group. It is the company's fifth certified store in India.

LEGO opened its first LEGO Certified Store in the country at Ambience Mall in Gurugram in May 2025, and later opened two stores in Bengaluru and one in Chennai.

Store Specifications and Inventory

The 2,310 sq ft Mumbai outlet stocks more than 250 sets. The company said these include products such as the LEGO Technic Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear Megacar and the LEGO Icons Arcade Pinball Machine.

The store includes India's first LEGO vertical Play Wall and Mumbai-inspired brick installations.

Launch Celebration and World Record

The launch featured a Guinness World Records attempt, with enthusiasts joining noted Adult LEGO Fan Ritam Bhatnagar in attempting a Guinness World Records feat for the world's largest LEGO brick mosaic made using multiple panels.

Over 300 children from across the city came together for a day of creativity, building and play.

R City Mall and Runwal Realty

R City Mall, located in Ghatkopar West, Mumbai, opened in 2009 and spreads across 1.2 million square feet with the capacity to house over 350 stores. It is a project developed by The Runwal Group.

Anuradha Singh, Head of Retail, Runwal Realty said the mall is "a one-stop destination for shopping, dining, entertainment and lifestyle" that "continually evolves its portfolio to offer customers differentiated, experience-led destinations."
